KUCHING: A cruise up Sarawak River with boats carrying prominent women from the past, present and future will be held as part of the state-level Women’s Day celebration next month.
Welfare, Women and Family Development Minister Datuk Fatimah Abdullah said the river journey on Sept 11 would be symbolic of the progress made by women in the state since pre-independence days until now.
