KUCHING: The state’s log production has continued to dwindle, dropping to some 3.24 million cu m in the first five months of this year, or an average monthly volume of 648,000 cu m.
The figure was about 720,000 cu m lower than 3.96 million cu m recorded in last year’s corresponding period, according to data from Sarawak Forestry Corporation (SFC) compiled by Sarawak Timber Association.
