JOHOR BARU: Over the last several days, the Johor police have detained more than nine snatch thieves in their efforts to make the streets safer for the public.
State police chief Deputy Comm Datuk Mohd Mokhtar Mohd Shariff said the special task force unit, which was set up to tackle street crimes, had conducted an operation on July 9 in Kampung Melayu Majidee here.
