Any wiring beyond meter responsibility of building owners

KUCHING: Any electrical wiring beyond the meter is the customer’s own responsibility to maintain, says Sesco.

Sesco senior assistant engineer Gilbert Lai told reporters at a press conference during a joint visit with the Sarawak Fire and Rescue Department to Carpenter Street yesterday that the internal wiring that came after a meter was connected was the shopowners’ responsibility.
