THE Kedah President Cup soccer team made it into the quarter-final of the tournament with a resounding 5-0 victory against Penang in their last league match at the Darulaman Stadium in Alor Setar, Kedah.
The victory over Penang, who were out of contention for the quarter finals, confirmed Kedah’s place in the last eight as a defeat could have meant elimination from the tournament.
