Teachers told to be careful about politics


KUCHING: Teachers are reminded that as government servants they are all bound by the General Orders and therefore, they should watch what they say or do when it comes to politics.

Speaking in defence of his president Tan Sri Dr James Masing, PRS supreme council member Richard Will felt that there was no need for Masing to apologise for chiding civil servants, especially teachers, who criticised the government of the day.
