278 volunteers join local celebrities to clear Padang Desa Temuan of litter


Schoolkids on holiday helping to clean-up the residential area around Desa Temuan as part of the city council-sponsored World Environement Day celebrations.

Orang asli children from the Belum-Temenggor forest were among those invited to the World Environment Day celebrations organised by the Petaling Jaya City Council (MBPJ),

The event, held at Padang Desa Temuan in Damansara Perdana, also saw the involvement of Emkay Group’s three corporate social responsibility arms — the Pulau Banding Foundation (PBF), the Bukit Merah Orang Utan Island foundation and Yayasan Emkay.
