Penang is now one of the handful places in the world producing vacuum valves, a high-technology product used in the manufacturing of semiconductor wafers.
VAT Manufacturing Malaysia Sdn Bhd, which started operations recently in Batu Kawan Industrial Park, is targeting to achieve turnover of US$30mil (RM91.08mil) in 2014 from its Batu Kawan production facility that manufactures vacuum valves.
