‘Turtles eat plastic bags thinking it is jellyfish’

THE plastic bag you thoughtlessly fling into a public drain can end up suffocating a turtle.

“Turtles eat jellyfish and they regularly mistake floating plastic bags as their favourite food,” explained Penang Fisheries Department deputy director Noraisyah Abu Bakar.
