GEORGE TOWN: The annual Songkran festival celebrated at two Buddhist temples here continues to be a top draw, with more than 10,000 revellers joining in the celebration and gamely getting themselves drenched.
At the Wat Chayamangkalaram and the Dhammikarama Burmese Buddhist temples here, revellers, mostly Myanmar nationals and Siamese, soaked each other using pails of water, toy water guns, plastic bottles and other containers.
