Water disruption for five days in KL and Gombak

ALMOST half a million people in Kuala Lumpur and the Gombak district are expected to face water shortage over the next few days due to a burst pipe near Kampung Melayu Batu Caves.

Located next to the Batu river, the pipe was damaged after the heavy downpour on Wednesday, forcing Syabas to turn off the main water supply from the Wangsa Maju treatment plant in order to prevent wastage.
