MALACCA: A notorious robbery gang that caused apprehension among newspaper vendors in Malacca City has been crippled following an all-out effort to eliminate their existence by police here.
State CID chief Assistant Commissioner Raja Sharom Raja Abdullah said the gang members were considered nocturnal operators as they only carried-out their criminal activities in the wee hours of the morning.
