THE state government has once again come to the aid of the Chung Hwa Church of Christ in Sitiawan by exempting it from paying RM12,632 in assessment arrears.
In announcing the good news, state Non-Islamic Affairs committee chairman Datuk Dr Mah Hang Soon said the state government had also agreed to waive all future assessment fees of the Kampung Koh church as long as the status of the land on which it stood on, was for religious purposes.
