Good governance has led to positive changes to the country’s socio economic development

THE stable economic growth enjoyed by the country in the last few years has given the Barisan Nasional government confidence to continue adopting people-oriented policies and programmes.

MCA president Datuk Seri Dr Chua Soi Lek said due to the positive economic performance, the Government was able to give out the 1Malaysia People’s Aid (BR1M) to low income families for another year, enabling it to look after the welfare of the poor.
