Residents cry foul as waste water flows into drain

RESIDENTS of Taman Melur and Taman Saga, Ampang are unhappy that waste water is flowing into the drain near the housing area instead of being channelled into the Indah Water Konsortium Sdn Bhd (IWK) sewerage system.

Neighbourhood Committee pre-sident in charge of safety Abd Naim Safar, 65, said the IWK drainage pipe was not connected and he had complained to the Ampang Jaya Municipal Council (MPAJ) but that no action was taken.
