MIRI: There is significant surge in the number of new voters in certain parts of interior Sarawak — a distinct phenomenon that will play a crucial role in determining the outcome of the parliamentary elections in the state. This will in turn play a big role in shaping the overall outcome of the general election at national level.
Baram Barisan Nasional deputy election director Dennis Ngau, who is also Baram PBB youth chief, said the latest electoral roll would see a surge in the number of new rural voters with the success of voter registration exercise in the remote outposts.
