Clear details on free education needed, say educators


WHILE most people are not convinced by Pakatan Rakyat’s pledge for free education at public institutions of higher learning, the same can be said of the Opposition’s pledge to subsidise the fees of those who study at private institutions.

The pledge, according to most people whom The Star spoke to, was vague and left much to be desired.
