KUCHING: Amateur Radio Club Sarawak (ACRS) in collaboration with the state Civil Defence Department (CDD) will put up a repeater or rebroadcaster at the Borneo Highlands Resort (BHR) to cover all grey areas (areas with no mobile phone coverage).
ARCS chairman Liew Chung Haw said the repeater would be able to provide very high frequency (VHF) radio or walkie talkie coverage within the 100km radius.
