IPOH: Plans are afoot to turn Bagan Datoh, about 50km from Teluk Intan, into a car body manufacturing hub with a steel mill plant.
State Industry, Investment and Entrepreneur Development Committee chairman Datuk Hamidah Osman said the state government was in the midst of identifying a suitable location to set up the hub and steel mill, both of which would complement the operations of Proton City in Tanjung Malim.
