TALL and tattooed with a stare that borders on intense in the kitchen, Riccardo Ferrarotti had decided early on what he wanted to do in life, and joined a culinary school in his teens.

Now, at the age of 31, the Italian has launched his own Mediterranean restaurant in Kuala Lumpur’s Golden Triangle with a business partner.
