Organising chairman Mohd Sharizal Abdul Alibu (standing, fourth from right) said the festival was aimed at promoting a healthy and positive lifestyle within the Kampung Sungai Batu community. “Since the village is a traditional fishing village, we chose to honour this fact by naming the participating teams after fishes,” he said. The Tenggiri team later emerged as champion among 10 participating teams .
