IT WAS a fruitful outing for the duo of Amren Feisal and Syed Zafilen Syed Alwee at the Kenanga corporate golf tournament at Palm Garden Golf Club, IOI Resort City in Putrajaya recently.
The 13-handicapper Amren registered a nett score of 71 to emerge as the overall champion while the eight-handicapper Syed Zafilen ended his campaign with a score of 80 for the top spot in the gross section.
The winners were rewarded with golf equipment for their feats.
More than 40 corporate clients took part in the event hosted by the Kenanga Investment Bank Berhad (KIBB) equity broking division.
The participants were from Affin Fund Management, Agrobank, Employees Provident Fund (EPF), Etiqa Insurance Berhad, Lembaga Tabung Angkatan Tentera (LTAT), Malaysian National Reinsurance Berhad (MNRB), Permodalan Nasional Berhad (PNB), Petronas, RHB Asset Management and Valuecap.
As the firm celebrates 40 years as a player in the industry, KIBB equity broking senior director Lee Kok Khee said the recent golf meet was an occasion for them to show their appreciation to their clients for their continuous support throughout the merger with ECM Libra Investment Bank.
Participants also went home with prizes from the lucky draws.
