A BUSINESSMAN’s plan to celebrate Chap Goh Meh at his family home was dashed when fire razed the double-storey wooden house in Kampung Palaniappa Seberang Keretapi in Alor Setar.
Soh Liep Seng, 59, also lost RM20,000 cash which was burnt in the fire.
