SHAH ALAM: Brochures on crime prevention and community policing will be made available at selected 24-hour convenient stores in Selangor.
In addition to the brochures which are meant to raise public awareness, police will also conduct more patrols at the stores which have become easy targets for robbers and thieves.
Selangor police chief Deputy Comm Datuk Tun Hisan Tun Hamzah said the move would further enhance the police's presence in crime-prone areas.
The brochures will list down tips on crime prevention.
“Tips like the usefulness of installing anti-theft convex mirrors at premises will deter shoplifters,” Tun Hisan said.
