Tower to be built at Penang’s oldest mosque


A TOWER will be built at the Masjid Jamek Batu Uban, said to be Penang’s oldest mosque, by the first quarter of the year.

Batu Uban assemblyman S. Raveentharan said the tower could help people to see the mosque in Kampung Batu Uban from a distance when travelling on the road.
