THE Chinese New Year break was not only a time for Malaysians to visit their hometowns or take in the sights in Kuala Lumpur, but also a time for foreign workers to come out in droves to meet up with their countrymen at popular spots in the city.
Most of them, comprising Bangladeshi, Nepalese, Indonesian, Myanmar and Vietnamese nationals, were seen sightseeing or shopping at tourist spots like KLCC park, Jalan Silang, Kota Raya, Dataran Merdeka and the Masjid Jamek marketplace on Sunday.
