THE SRK (T) Vivekananda Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) has aborted a plan to stage a protest over the Jalan Berhala road closure in Brickfields after they were given an assurance yesterday that the road will not be closed.
PTA chairman A. Surendran said he was grateful to Deputy Federal Territories and and Urban Wellbeing Minister Datuk M. Saravanan for meeting the parents and settling some of their grouses, but insisted all assurances must be in writing.
