THE Government will only rescind the standardised parking rates in Kuala Lumpur if parking operators and building owners can persuade consumer associations to agree to it, Federal Territories and Urban Wellbeing Minister Datuk Raja Nong Chik Raja Zainal Abidin said.
Raja Nong Chik explained that the decision to impose a fixed parking rate was done at the request of the rakyat, who had complained about exorbitant parking charges in the city.
