Varsity seats allocated to needy students will require support evidence from local authorities


JOHOR BARU: Those applying for the 5,200 varsity seats allocated for students from low socio-economic background will require support evidence from the local authorities, welfare department and other related sources before being considered.

Higher Education Minister Datuk Seri Mohamed Khaled Nordin said even after all the documents were submitted, the final decision would lie in the hands of the ministry’s Students Admission Division (UPU).
