MPPP councillors taking action to clear their names

GEORGE TOWN: In an effort to “sniff out the evidence”, three Penang Municipal Council (MPPP) councillors are filing separate legal suits against state MIC Youth chief J. Dhinagaran.

Jagdeep Singh Deo, the counsel for MPPP’s Public Health committee alternate chairman Ong Ah Teong, said the three councillors were “unimpressed” by Dhinagaran’s claims that he possessed CCTV footage of a councillor receiving a bribe from a businesswoman.
