TANJUNG Rambutan residents can now do their marketing in a comfortable and clean environment, thanks to a RM7.16mil allocation made by the Housing and Local Government Ministry and the Ipoh City Council.
Located next to the old market lot, the new market sports bright fluorescent lights, tiled floors and good air circulation, much to the delight of market-goers. The old market is being demolished to make room for a hawker centre and daily trading lots under the allocation.
