Construction of monsoon drain in Kampung Benggali, Sungai Siput will help alleviate floods

THE frequent flooding of Kampung Benggali in Sungai Siput and the hardship it brings to residents, may soon be a thing of the past.

The 40 families living in the 100-year-old village can finally heave a sigh of relief with the on-going construction of a monsoon drain, which is expected to alleviate flooding once completed in the next two months.
