Providing a sense of security

POLICE presence at crime hotspots in Penang will be further enhanced with the newly-launched Motorcycle Patrolling Unit (URB) which will provide a 24-hour surveillance using the new Kawasaki Ninja 250 (STD) X machines.

Penang police chief Deputy Comm Datuk Abdul Rahim Hanafi said the unit would adopt a two-man buddy system, mainly focusing on reducing street crime in high-risk places.
