ACCOMPLISHED award-winning composer and musician Yii Kah Hoe has fond memories of Shanghai Book Co. KL Sdn Bhd, a bookstore in Petaling Street, Kuala Lumpur, which has closed its doors after more than 86 years of operations.
“I used to go to the bookstore during my college days as they stocked a lot of references that I needed for my coursework,” said Yii, a Fine Arts graduate who majored in Chinese ink painting.
