Perak urged to re-gazette forest reserve

GEORGE TOWN: Sahabat Alam Malaysia (SAM) has voiced disappointment over the Perak government’s failure to respond to its three letters of objection to the proposed iron ore processing plant and liquefied natural gas (LNG) supply plant in Tanjung Hantu, Manjung.

SAM president S.M. Mohamed Idris urged the Perak government to scrap both projects covering 202ha and 60ha respectively.
