Imported ultrasonic devices rid stench of Taman Aman lake

Regular maintenance: Ng (right) and Glomedic engineer Muhd Zulfadli Mahmood checking the fuse box located under one of the lake’s piers to ensure none of the ultrasonic emitters or aerators have tripped.

Taman Aman lake may not be as well-known as its larger cousins in Kelana Jaya and Taman Jaya, but the former mining pool-turned-lake and park has experienced a change in condition over these last three months.

Located next to SMK (P) Sri Aman and bordering Sections 14 and 22, the lake is contaminated by algae and the inflow of liquid waste from the surrounding buildings.
