Lots of hindrances created by residents

THE effectiveness of measures taken by the Ipoh City Council to eradicate Aedes breeding grounds is often hampered by the public, its health department director Mohd Alias Kamaruddin said.

While there were some who could not be bothered to take care of their own surroundings or heed advice, others failed to realise that the council cannot carry out an effective job because of hindrances created by them, he said.
