Dr Mah: Rise in diabetic cases in Malaysia, a cause for concern

For good health: Thousands of people took part in the 10,000-steps walk after the launch of the World Diabetes Day celebration at the Sultan Abdul Aziz Recreational Park in Ipoh.

Perak Health Committee chairman Datuk Dr Mah Hang Soon said a study conducted by the Health Ministry last year showed that about a third of the country’s population were unaware they had diabetes.
