THE state has acquired 50 new waste compactors, at a cost of between RM150,000 and RM160,000 per compactor, as part of its effort to reduce the waste problem in Selangor, said local government, research and development committee chairman Ronnie Liu.
Liu was responding to Yap Ee Wah’s (BN-Sungai Pelek) question on the number of compactors bought and the amount spent.
