College students toil to add glitter to peacock gown

No easy feat: The thousand-feathered peacock gown stands elegantly by the peacock kolam surrounded by dancers dressed as peacocks.

PEACOCKS take centre stage this year at Pavilion Kuala Lumpur in conjunction with the Deepavali celebration.

The highlight is an elegant thousand-feathered gown made from 1,500 peacock feathers set across 12m of silk in emerald green. This time around, Pavilion has partnered with Raffles College of Higher Education to inject a new twist to their creative decor.
