Smart planning: Glass panels are being widely used in the construction of the buildings to house Johor public agencies and departments in Kota Iskandar to allow natural light to stream in while reducing the usage of electricity in the buildings.
ISKANDAR Malaysia in Johor has been chosen as a Smart City Model for Malaysia and the world.
The selection took place during the first intersession meeting of the Global Science and Innovation Advisory Council (GSIAC) in July 2012, in San Jose, the US.
