KUCHING: A new initiative to facilitate and expedite the registration of nurseries as announced last month by the Prime Minister will unfortunately not come into play here in the state.
Nursery operators in West Malaysia will no longer need the approval of technical agencies such as the local authorities, Health Department and the Fire and Rescue Department under this new initiative, but here in Sarawak, they will still need to go through agencies such as the Land and Survey Department.
