Taman Bukit Kuchai residents up in arms as sewage water floods homes

In a mess: The rainy season has caused the inspecton chamber of the sewerage line to overflow into the homes at Taman Bukit Kuchai

FOR more than a week, residents of Taman Bukit Kuchai have had to deal with sewage water backflowing into their homes every time it rains.

Jalan 18 resident Sooria Letchu-manan, 53, said the problem started just before Hari Raya Haji when the inspection chamber (the opening located within a house and connected to the main sewerage line) overflowed and water gushed into her house.
