End to market woes soon

THE upgrading of the Rifle Range Market and Complex, undertaken by the Penang Municipal Council (MPPP) to spruce up the place and install more facilities for the disabled, is set to complete by December.

MPPP planning committee alternate chairman Felix Ooi Keat Hin said the project would include the construction of a new female toilet and a disabled toilet on the ground floor, upgrading works on the existing men and women’s toilets on the first floor as well as the men’s toilet on the ground floor, the construction of two staircases and two pedestrian walkways (in front of the market).
