THE Star came out tops in the English newspaper category at the recent Malaysian Greentech Awards 2012, whereby assistant editor Meng Yew Choong won the platinum prize for Best Greentech Journalism.
Muhammad Afiz Mohd Hanif of Harian Metro and Rohani Hamdan won in the Malay newspaper and television categories, respectively, of the media awards given out by the organisers, the Energy, Green Technology and Water Ministry, and the Malaysian Green Technology Corporation.
