Selangor govt imposes new scheme on landowners

THE Selangor government will introduce a new scheme to legalise illegal factories in the state by charging a premium to landowners.

The premium can be paid via installments but Selangor Mentri Besar Tan Sri Khalid Ibrahim said factory or land owners would have to pay the premium in its entirety if the said lot was sold to a third party.
