Garnier: Skincare line invites women to take part in challenge

GARNIER is on a nationwide mission to help Malaysian women go two tones fairer in just two weeks.

The skincare brand recently kicked off a nationwide roadshow to reach out to women to take up its Two Tones Lighter Challenge.

A total of 100,000 complimentary challenge kits which come with the Garnier Skin Naturals Light Whiten and Even Moisturising Cream SPF17/PA++ for two weeks’ application, a skin tone measuring ruler and self-assessment instructions will be given out during the roadshow.

The secret, says Garnier, lies in the cream’s ingredients, which includes Snow Pine White Source — a whitening ingredient that has more than 10 times whitening efficacy than Vitamin C to act on melanin synthesis (or dark spots production in the skin) at the source; Pure Lemon Essence that helps to gently exfoliate and remove dead skin cells, and SPF 17/PA++ to better protect skin from further darkening due to daily UVA and UVB exposure.

Leading the Garnier Two Tones Lighter Challenge campaign is its Malaysian brand ambassador actress Lisa Surihani.

“I choose to use Garnier Light skincare products every day and night, especially the moisturising cream, because it keeps my skin hydrated, even-toned and radiant.

Lisa said she was excited when she heard about the challenge.

“It is time we get more women to experience fairer and brighter skin, as quickly as in two weeks,” she said, while holding up the yellow tub of Garnier Light Whiten and Even Moisturising Cream SPF17/PA++.

“I would like to invite every Malaysian woman to come and take this challenge and see the difference for themselves.”

To join the challenge, get a Garnier Two Tones Lighter challenge kit available at its roadshow.

To reach out to as many women as possible, the roadshow will be making stops at colleges, shopping malls, night markets, KTM and LRT stations, and bus terminals in numerous states.

The roadshow will be held until Nov 10.

Garnier is also inviting participants to share their challenge experience by responding to a simple survey available in Garnier Malaysia’s Facebook page.

The first 1,000 respondents will receive a free 50ml jar of Garnier Light Whiten and Even Moisturising Cream SPF17/PA++ worth RM19.90.
