THE Star photographer G.C. Tan made the newspaper proud by winning the media category at a Malaysian Maritime Enforce-ment Agency (MMEA) shooting competition in Langkawi.
Tan, who is attached to the newspaper’s Alor Setar bureau and was its sole participant at the event, scored 70 points in the Precision event to beat 20 other media members from Kedah and Perlis.
