Favourite teams dazzle audience with high energy performance

Tough tussle: Newcomers Timbelalang (in red) and Mixs FC featuring in the keenly contested women’s final.

DEFENDING champions Team A from Singapore remain undefeated in two matches but they had to “abandon” their plan of retaining the men’s title of Kuala Lumpur Open Handball Championships at the Olympic Council of Malaysia (OCM) Sports Arena recently due to time constraint.

The favourites got off to an impressive start in living up to their top billing when they edged last season’s runners-up Hoisan of Kuala Lumpur with a narrow 9-8 victory in the opening match of the double knock-out system contest.
