Two new palm oil mills to address long queues in Mukah

SIBU: Long queues at palm oil mills in Mukah, particularly at the SPAD Mukah Palm Oil Mill, will be a thing of the past once construction work on two more mills is completed.

Malaysian Palm Oil Board (MPOB) Public Re-lations Unit head Mohd Saufi Awang said work was near completion and the mills were expected to be operational soon. He explained that the long queues were due to the longer time taken by the mills to grade more Fresh Fruit Bunches (FFB) especially during peak season.
